Living more sustainably starts with awareness. We're fortunate to have many choices now that weren't available in the past, choices that can reduce our impact on our local and global environments. We can recycle not just aluminum and glass, but most types of paper and plastic. We can reduce the amount of energy we use by replacing standard lightbulbs with compact fluorescent bulbs, and by carpooling, riding the bus, or riding our bikes to work. We can buy local produce and buy eco-friendly products. We can replant trees and
offset our carbon use. We can use a reel mower instead of a gas or electric one. The list goes on and on.

Working toward a more sustainable life is challenge we all need to meet.
