This October, Trees, Water & People worked with REI, Larimer County Open Lands, Poudre School District, and Lopez Elementary School to create the Outdoor & Wildlife Learning Site (OWLS) at Lopez Elementary School. We have installed new, durable steel benches for an outdoor classroom, planted trees to give the area a more natural intimacy, and removed invasive Russian olive species.

We are so happy to be able to offer this open area as a resource to the neighborhood, students, and faculty of Lopez Elementary School.
