Renewables on Schools

Working with our progressive local school system (Poudre School District), we have helped to raise funds for renewable energy installations for schools in the district and assisted them in maximizing the educational value of their energy generating system. We kicked off this program in March 2008 and to date we have raised $18,000 to help install a 21 kilowatt photovoltaic solar electric system on Bethke Elementary School.

Bethke Elementary represents the culmination of a lot of work towards energy efficient buildings on the part of the school district.  The school is the first LEED Gold Certified School west of the Mississippi and is built to Energy Star specifications.
